Post 16.0
I am really surprised at how fast the framing and roof was constructed! All I can say is way to go Ryan Homes! They started mid-July and it is one week shy of mid-August...as you can see in the photos posted below, I have a roof! Now, hopefully once I have the pre-drywall meeting, things will slow down, but stay on schedule as planned. As of the pre-construction meeting, the PM said I should be looking to close by October 23, 2015. He may be right.

Looks great, welcome to the neighborhood. Think we (my girlfriend Melissa and I) have your old lot. It is the brick house you can see facing you in photo 4. We are set to close early September! Not sure if you have joined, but there are a few Facebook Groups for people buying Ryan Homes. Sometimes overwhelming but also some good information there.
ReplyDeleteYes you do! That's great! I changed lots because my "glambaby" (no typo) LOL will be visiting and should definitely be walking by the time we (my husband and I) close and I wanted a cul-de-sac for that purpose, also have 2 toy poodles which means until I get a fence, and while training them on their new neighborhood, I have to walk them on leash, I thought it was best to choose another lot. However, I'm bummed about the size...didn't realize the house would over power my yard. Do you have a blog about your home building experience? If so, let me know where to find it. I would love to get yours and/or your girlfriends POV.
DeleteWe have not been blogging our experience, just been keeping tabs on others and in the group. We have a dog as well, 25 lbs adorable mix so we will also eventually be getting a fence. So far the experience has been mostly positive particularly with Brandon the PM. I hope that other than the lot that yours has been also.
