Day 1. Hello! My husband and I live right outside Washington, DC. We lost our home in the middle of the financial crisis during 2009/2010. We tried to purchase again in 2011, but I lost my job due to a BIG layoff at my last employer.
Alas, I decided to stop by these beautiful townhomes in the Capitol Heights, MD area to check them out on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. I figured this time around, we would downsize - - no yard. But we didn't want a development that restricts parking either. I went in, met with the Sales Representative, SM. He was pleasant, friendly and full of knowledge regarding the development. All of my questions were answered before my departure. While there, SM also talked me into applying just to see where we were in credit to decide if we really wanted to move forward.
On Saturday, January 24, 2015 I received a call from SM telling me we were pre-approved based on income and credit!!! Nothing but God!!! I was a little under the weather and scheduled a visit with him on Monday, January 26, 2015.
I visited the townhouse model again on Monday, January 26th, but after speaking with my husband and sharing the approval news over the weekend, we decided to change from the Schubert (townhouse) to the Milan (single family home).
I was told by SM that Ryan Homes was only doing Elevation B of the Milan and only with a brick front. After browsing other blogs over the past weekend, I found this one above on http://themills-noey814.blogspot.com/2011/05/psstmilan-builders.html. I already love the colors and I hope they are available when I get to this stage in my process.
